Mike was crowned "Teen King" at a high school sock hop because he resembled Buddy Holly. He kept the glasses and joined up with the 50's band "Impending Shame" that became a regional success in the Midwest. The band members once again included Mike's brothers, and this time, four of his high school teachers. The experience gave Mike an education that he could have never learned in school. Mike went on to earn a B.A. in Music from Southern Illinois University, and shortly after, an M.B.A. from The American Graduate School of International Management. The group Come Back Buddy was formed as a result of Mike and his Wife Janine's reaction to what people want to hear. "We've been doing this for six years now, and everyday, it's-a gettin' closer, goin' faster than a roller coaster!" |
